I was taken aback this afternoon when suddenly the sun started shining over the plains as we drove West from London. It seemed so bright I quickly scrambled for my sunnies in the glove compartment of Husband's car, but by the time I'd got the cold frames onto my nose, the grey landscape was back, with the sun invisible behind thick cloud.
Yet at home I found these snowdrops in the garden. So even if the nasty BBC weather man forecast snow again next week, at least there are some very, very small signs of spring to give us hope.

I quite fancy hurtling down a hill with a sweet cream filled bun!
